Happy Birthday Ger-Nis Culinary & Herb Center
We have had one heck of a year over here at the Culinary & Herb Center, and we are so excited to celebrate! In this past year we have seen our classes fill up with eager students and brilliant New York chefs, curious teens from local outreach programs, and of course new and interesting kinds of produce. We have had the honor of working with chefs like Jacques Gautier of Palo Santo and Gabe McMackin of Roberta’s, both people and restaurants we admire and enjoy, and more talent is on the way this coming year.
You may have also heard that we launched Ger-Nis Sunday Supper Club, the ultimate dining experience for foodies featuring fine chefs, live music, an herbal bar and art raffle. The inaugural Supper Club was a huge success, and we will continue with the dinners seasonally.
This spring & summer we have a slew of classes and events coming up, we continue to educate and enjoy our community as far as food goes and are happy with what we have accomplished so far in such a short time!
Stay tuned for more exciting events out of the Culinary & Herb Center. We are just getting started and can’t get enough. We hope to see you learning, cooking, eating and generally enjoying life before we turn two!
